As Extreme with Board3Portal has reached the next generation level of development, I am pleased to announce that we are now working to take Extreme with Portal XL5 to its next level of development and release. We will therefor during January 2009 release the FullymoddedphpBB3 Extreme with Portal XL5 Version 2.0. This will then become the largest modded phpBB3 available on the internet worldwide and will involve hundreds of hours work to put together. The version will be a major release and will involve a substantial rewrite of all the code from the Version 1 series along with the addition of many new features. In fact it will have 115 mods fitted. This release will also form the basis for all our themes development with all themes being designed for the forthcoming Version 2 from now. As this is a major release we are unable to provide an upgrade script. A method is however provided to upgrade which basically means exporting the data only from your database and importing back in to the database. Full details can be found in the installation instructions on the forum.
